MANILA, Philippines — Two individuals were reportedly missinggstar28, while over 1.8 million individuals nationwide were affected by the combined effects of the last three weather disturbances that hit the country, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).

In its 8 p.m. data on Sunday, the NDRRMC reported that 1,822,343 people or 473,016 families were affected by Typhoon Nika (international name: Toraji), Typhoon Ofel (international name: Usagi), and now Typhoon Pepito (international name: Man-yi).

Of this figure, 688,062 were displaced with 441,476 staying inside 2,569 evacuation centers nationwide, while 246,786 took shelter elsewhere.

Additionally, the NDRRMC said that 183 areas in Region 1 (Ilocos), Region 2 (Cagayan Valley), Region 3 (Central Luzon), and Region 5 (Bicol) were flooded.

Nika exited the country’s boundary last November 12, while Ofel left the Philippine area of Responsibility (PAR) on November 17.

On the other hand, Pepito was last spotted was last spotted over the coastal waters of San Fernando, La Union.

The typhoon is moving 25 kilometers per hour (km/h), carrying maximum sustained winds of 155 km/h and gusts of up to 255 km/h.

Pepito may exit PAR on Monday morning or noon.
